Q: How can I receive my Home Remittance Payment directly in my account?

A: You can receive your Home Remittance Payment in your bank account maintained in JSBL or with any other bank in Pakistan free of cost by providing the following details to your remitter / sender:

  • Account Title
  • Account number with branch code or IBAN number
  • Bank Name in Pakistan

Q: How can I know the status of account transfer transaction that my account is credited by Home Remittance Payment?

A: The Beneficiary can check their account transfer transaction with the help of their CNIC number through our dedicated call center at Toll-Free number: +92 (21) 111-654-321. Apart from the call center, the customer can check the transaction status through JSBL Mobile App, Internet Banking, and SMS alerts (if activated).

Q: What is the amendment/correction procedure if the transaction is held in the system due to invalid account details?

A: Amendment/Correction can only be made from the remitting end (from where the transaction is initiated). This is better in the interest of the beneficiary/customer.

Q: What is the transaction crediting time for JSBL Account?

A: The transaction will get credited to your account instantly, where the account details are valid. In case of any amendments/corrections, transactions will get credit within 24 hours after the amendment.

Q: Can I receive SMS on my mobile phone once payment is received/credited?

A: Yes, if a valid mobile number is received with the payment instructions from the remitting end, then an SMS is sent once payment is processed and credited.

Q: What is the maximum amount of Home Remittance payment that can be received in my account?

A: There is no amount limitation upon receiving Home Remittance payment in an account.
