Job Description:

• Manage and administer VMware vSphere infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, and vCenter Server.
• Design, deploy, and configure virtual machines (VMs) and virtual networks to meet the needs of various departments and projects.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to VMware infrastructure, including CPU, memory, storage, and network utilization.
• Implement and maintain VMware High Availability (HA), Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS), and Fault Tolerance (FT) features to ensure high availability and fault tolerance of VMs.
• Configure and manage virtual networking components such as vSwitches, dvSwitches, and VLANs.
• Ensure network security and efficient data traffic flow within the virtualized environment.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate VMware infrastructure with storage, networking, and other systems.
• Work on new requirements and recommend new hardware, software, and configurations to meet the new requirement.
• Administration of Microsoft Windows Servers 2016, 2019 & 2022.
• VMware certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) are a plus.
• Experience in VMware related virtualization products.
